Combating violence against women

The fight against violence against women is a battle waged all year round by the city. High points are the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women in November, and the Women's Rights Day in March, which brings together departments, associations working in this field and the French Ministry of Education.

Menstrual insecurity

Montataire is the first commune in the Oise region to install free dispensers of sanitary protection for women. Since 2022, these protections have been freely available at the Centre communal d'action sociale and at I'Espace Huberte d'Hoker. They are made of 100% cotton, plastic-free, toxic-free and biodegradable.
